What is a YouTube Channel ID?

The Channel ID used by YouTube as a unique identification value.

The channel ID can also be used to request the YouTube API, and because it's a unique value, it can be found even if the YouTube address changes.

How do I use this service?

This service retrieves the channel ID from the URL of a YouTube channel.

1. Copy the URL of YouTube channel (not the address of the video).
2. Paste the copied URL into the URL window (you can leave out the @ part of the URL).

How to find your channel ID.

1. Go to the YouTube site.
2. Sign in.
3. Select the profile image area in the top right corner.
4. Tap Settings in the menu that appears.
5. Tap Advanced settings in the left side menu.
6. Find your channel ID.

Once logged in, you can find your channel ID by going to https://www.youtube.com/account_advanced.
